Two of these films were created during my studies in Sweden in 2002. The animated short film "The Letter" was my first experience in artistic animation, but "Grandad's Honey" is my diploma work and also my first experience working with paint on glass directly under the camera.
In 2004 I created my first professional animated short film "Bezmiegs" (Insomnia). The film was produced in studio Rija Films (www.rijafilms.lv).
"Zudusi Sniega"(Lost in Snow) is animated short film produced in studio Jet Media (www.jetmedia.lv) in cooperation with AniMera AB (Sweden) in 2007. Music for the current film was composed by Normand Roger.
In 2009 LUNOHOD animation studio has released first its own project - animated short film "Spārni un Airi" (Wings and Oars). Thousands of drawings, painted by watercolour... Music for the current film was composed by Pierre Yves Drapeau and Normand Roger in collaboration with Denis Chartrand.
