History of Lunohod
In the same year I was making my first steps discovering the planet Earth.
Since this time I have been sharing my impressions about this experience, creating animated films, paintings and illustrations.
After several years working in different studios I made the decision to find my own working space.
At the beginning of 2007 Lunohod Animation Studio appeared in Riga.

Biography
Born in 1970, in Daugavpils, Latvia.
In early childhood I gained artistic experience creating drawings and paintings on the walls and corners of my parents’ house.
In 1989 I finished art school in Riga and after that was working at being unemployed and if I was lucky as a freelancer for a number of useless commercial and useful noncommercial projects.
From 1993 I was working mostly on creating useless commercial videos,TV designs (sometimes very useful) and other things(more or less useful), trying to do them in animation.
In 2001 I moved to Sweden to learn more about animation. During one year I created my first two animated short films under the supervision of the great master Piotr Dumala (Thank you, Piotr!)
Since 2004 I have been working professionaly in animation.
Finally,in 2007 I established LUNOHOD Animation Studio.
